I'm only shooting film of my friends while I am back in Saskatoon for the holidays. Why? I really don't know. I shoot soooo much digital, I just want something different and to wait till I'm in the darkroom to see the pictures.  Crazy!

I shot the Vanier Cup on Saturday. Unfortunately the University of Saskatchewan Huskies lost to Wilfrid Laurier 24-23 but it still made for some good pictures!

I shot this for a studio assignment on food. I photographed Ashley's eye with Visine drops in it and then put the shot up on my laptop screen and put the onion on a cutting board over the keyboard. I popped a flash on the onions to balance the light with the computer screen. The Visine was Ashley's idea... I was just going to hold chopped onions up to her eyes until she cried but the Visine was a much better idea!

I got a freelance job with The Toronto Star and my assignment was to take a picture of a father and his two daughters playing board games for a story about how the dad plays board games rather than watching TV for family time.

I wanted to try and get something "different" and more interesting than just three people sitting at a table playing a board game so I bought a sheet of plexy glass from Home Depo for $20 and made this picture. It paid off. They ran it half a page!
