I must thank all of YOU for these pictures. This
site has grown so much in the last two years. I now get over 35,000
visits/month from all over the world and it has been such inspiration for me
to keep going and keep taking pictures. I never thought my
photography would go this far and I hope for it to go much farther in the
future. This was my second year with the privilege of a photo pass at
Warped Tour. I got to be inches away from the bands and I hope these
pictures help all of you who couldn't make it to the Warped Tour (or those
of you who want to relive it) see what it was like to be there..... "the
Woodstock of Punk Rock"
Enjoy!

Wish you were there don't you?!
So why didn't Punkoryan update from Calgary like he
said he would? Well among many other excuses I took over SEVEN
HUNDRED PICTURES of Warped Tour 2004 and its going to take a wee while
to get them all updated!
Don't fret though, I'm already half way done and
should hopefully have them all up later tonight. |

And now YOU (YES YOU!) get to help choose which bands I will
photograph at Warped Tour on Thursday. Yes I do have a photo pass again
as well I will have a laptop so I will be updating FROM CALGARY THE
NIGHT OF WARPED TOUR!!! (Yes I always deliver!)
I am of course going to photograph all the big bands like NOFX, Bad
Religion, Thursday etc, but I leave it up to YOU to decide which of the
"small bands" (provided they aren't playing at the same time as a little
band) I should photograph.
GO HERE for
the Poll, you can vote for more than one band in each pole, so vote for
as many bands as you want. Enjoy!

For anyone wishing to go to Tarrah's prayer service tonight
at 7pm or the Funeral tomorrow morning at 10:30am (anyone feel
free to come, she would have loved "the scene people" to be
there) I have a map HERE
and the address is 3339 Centennial Dr. A heartfelt thank you
to all the people who have e-mailed and called me, and all our
friends to offer support. It's thanks to people like you that we
can make it through this tragedy. As well finally, Duff is going
to be organizing a show in August to benefit the scholarship
that will be in her name! That is the most beautiful thing
anyone could do because tomorrow night (her funeral) would have
been the show she had organized at the Odeon. We thank you all
so very much! <3 |

You never know what you have until its
gone.
My friend Tarrah died in a
car accident on Thursday and at
risk of being untactful, I am strongly compelled to write a rant
right now. Not only because of the message it will hold, but
because ranting and especially photography have always been my
greatest outlet to my emotions.
This will be my second too many friends I
will have to be a pallbearer for, and with any death, friends
and family always get together for support and remembrance.
People always bring over the photo albums and the shoeboxes full
of pictures and look for “that good one”. It is really helpful
and beautiful to sit around with friends, family, and even
strangers to you who all knew the person and tell stories and
laugh and cry about her/him.
What is especially important to me is all
of the pictures of the person. Putting them all in a photo album
for everyone too see, calling up friends and asking if anyone
has any pictures of them “when we were on that trip” or “last
summer when her hair was that color”.
As everyone goes through their
shoeboxes they find “that perfect one”. I have been printing
and framing like crazy and what has hit me is how when a
person dies we not only conjure up old precious memories of
the person, but we for the first time share all of our
pictures and the stories that go along with them.

I am making it a point to give all of
my best pictures to friends of Tarrah. Ensure that we all
have “that perfect one” of her to remember. It’s sad though,
that it always takes someone’s death for everyone to realize
what they meant to you, or how you wouldn’t be
dating/hanging out with/friends with people if it wasn’t for
her.
What I hope you leave this with, which
I definitely have is that I am going to start going through
all my pictures and printing “the perfect ones” for all my
other friends. We shouldn’t have to wait for someone to die
to share all the pictures we have of them. Picture frames
are cheep; photo printing and reprints are cheep. Share your
photos, and share the memories that go with them.
If you want to send your condolences to
Tarrah’s family her address was 627 Kellough Rd
Saskatoon, SK S7N3N4.
In Remembrance of Tarrah’s undying
love for music, Donations will be taken up for a Scholarship
in Tarrah’s Memory for a music student to attend post
secondary education. The foundation is Heart if the City
Piano Program 2505-Cumberland Ave .S. Saskatoon, S7J-2A1
If you remember Tarrah. From school,
from shows, from work, from life, her Prayer Service will be
at 7pm on Monday July 5th and the Funeral will be
at 10:30am on Tuesday July 6th at St. Patrick Church (3339 Centennial
Dr.)
We miss you….
